King von Kiefer is a stunning 16 month old German Shepherd. A large boy with medium energy, King comes out of the kennel excited to see what the day will bring. He walks nicely on leash, even with other dogs, including one snarky female who reacted to him (King just ignored her).  He listens very well to corrections and displays admirable manners; during a routine vet visit, he behaved like a champ even though other waiting-room dogs were barking or obnoxious.  This sweet boy is extremely tolerant with humans, too; he just wants your company and affection.  In doggie playgroups, King enters calmly and gets along with other dogs, though eventually opts to explore the yard  and observe from the sidelines.  We think King may be housebroken – and we know for sure that he is counting the minutes until you come to the rescue and ask to meet him.
